Omygoodness it's day 7 already?? This is what I thought when I woke up this morning. But once we started riding, and we got to the lunch stop, I was so ready to finish. I wish lunch was the finish line. The grass here was nice. We got to take off our shoes and stretch and eat at the same time. We are always stretching. I stretch in line for the showers, in line for food, in line for port-a-potties, stretch will we hang out and talk, sit in butterfly stretching position while I am getting things out of my duffel bag in my tent, wake up and stretch my back...yes but i feel i didn't get any more flexible- it just canceled the tightness from biking.

Trying to take a nap and get in the right mind set to finish the ride. The last 18 miles weren't as bad as I thought. We rode single file along busy streets to get to L.A. and the last mile or 2 killed me! We kept going up all these hills!! Short, but steep, and the road kept going! I was like what the heckk??? Where is the freakin VA center?!?! And finally we ended- after going up one last hill- yea there was no down hill- pedaled until the very end. Fight till the very end. I guess it's symbolic. An up hill battle to fighting AIDS. A long hard fight especially for the homosexual community that AIDS greatly affects because the lifestyle is not accepted most of the country.

Here is hana. I met her standing in line for a shower. she went to cal too a few years ago.

Kirsty and I

Joanna- from the Midnight Ridazz!! They are a biking community from L.A. It's a political group too, like taking bake the streets. They go on night rides. Now Lisa and I want to start one from the BAY---like.. the ghost ridazz. ahahahhaha

We finished!!! road every mile! no one got sagged!

We all had to line up again and ride into closing ceremonies with our free long sleeve shirts. They came in a variety of rainbow colors. I got a purple one. It was soo hot out side!

Closing ceremonies. We couldn't really hear the speeches because the speakers weren't loud enough. We were roasting in the sun.
He helped wake us up in the morning- and on red dress day he got a beautiful strappy tan from his red dress.
Hooray!!!
